CHAPTER 30

I bought Andre a pair of skates. Everyday we went in the backyard and practiced. He's such a quick learner that he picked it up in two days by Friday he looked like he was born with skates as feet. His little self was going and going on those skates. Andrew wasn't my favorite person all week. He kept eyeballing me ever since he did the scare the pee out of me routine. I would roll my eyes at him, or blank stare at him.

By day four my period was gone. And normally as soon as I was off I was ready to go. But since I was mad at him I had to put those feelings to rest. At night we would do the whole stare down thing. He said before he could tell when I was on my period by the things I wore especially to bed. Thursday night I saw him do a double take when I wore my long black nightgown to bed. His attitude softened a little. Then he took a shower, oiled up, and came to bed in silk pj pants. I am a sucker for the feeling of soft silk on skin. But I laid on my side and wouldn't look in his direction no matter how inviting he tried to make his chest look. In the morning he was on the floor doing push ups. I pretended not to notice his beautiful back stretching and flexing as he went up and down. I pretended not to notice him watching me get dressed in the morning. After work I met up with Nicole at Chase’s to celebrate the week being over. I told her about Karen and she shook her head. Then I told her about our whole show down. She laughed at Andrew and I, she said we were silly. I looked around the bar, no one there looked familiar; I figured maybe he called off the followers. I exhaled took my shot of Patron, and then started on my Grande margarita. Nicole smiled really big, "I guess you're right! We can't go anywhere!"

I looked up and Hubby and Andrew were walking towards us. I rolled my eyes cause he looked good too! I kept telling myself to be cool. Had I known he was coming I wouldn't have drunken anything.

"Hello my name is Hubby, can I ask yours?"

"Nicole" she said with a huge grin

"Nicole, I was coming to have a drink with my friend. But I saw you, you are breath takingly beautiful!"

"Thank you!"

"I had to come over and introduce myself."

"Well I'm glad you did." She said

"Really?"

"Yea, me and my girl was hoping this place turned up something nice."

"Well I see you have drinks, can we get the next round?" He said

"You're welcome to join us."

I looked at her while finishing my drink. "Speak for yourself!" I said

"Why you so angry? Where's your man?" Andrew said

"I fired him!" I said matter of factly

Hubby started laughing. Andrew smiled real big, "why did you do that?"

"Cause he play too much! I don't have time for that.
